On today's episode we sit down with John Ornguze. Born in Orange County, California raised in Lagos Nigeria, till the age of 10 eventually returning to Southern California and going to high school in Corona Del Mar. This wide range of influences growing up in two very different cultures brought about influences that put him on the path he's been on ever since. Johnny O as he is commonly referred to is a musician that specializes in West African percussion instruments. Along with that his most recent venture is as a West African art dealer. Stay tuned and enjoy as we watch and listen to Johnny introduce us to and play a variety of West African percussion instruments as well as show us the artists work he represents.
